Carla Hodgkinson

Expert Tutor

Since achieving her BEd (Hons) in English with Sociology in 2007, Carla has gained diverse experience within the education sector. Working within a variety of roles within mainstream education, FE and work-based learning, her drive and passion for making others succeed has underpinned her accomplishments and career triumphs. With an unrivalled knowledge of and passion for social science, Carla excels in sharing her subject knowledge and enthusiasm with our students.

Michael Reeve

Expert Tutor

Michael recently completed his PhD in History at the University of Hull, where he also provided lectures and led seminars on the BA History course. Specialising in social and cultural history, Michael has wide-ranging interests in modern history, with recent research focussing on civilians during the First World War. Since 2017, he has worked as a part-time Lecturer in History at Leeds Beckett University, including a module that prepares second-year undergraduates for completing dissertation projects, in addition to academic skills development and employability support. He has published a number of articles in renowned peer-reviewed journals, including Cultural and Social History and the International Journal of Regional and Local History. Michael is a passionate supporter of lifelong learning and has experience of both teaching distance learning students and being a distance learner, when he studied Social Sciences with the Open University prior to beginning his studies in History.

Sheridan Chilvers

Non-Executive Director

Sheridan joined Infused Learning as a non-executive director in 2016 and shares our passion for education and philanthropy.

Sheridan holds a BSc in (Hons) in Business and Technology and an MSc in Environmental Management. He was awarded the Nottingham Roosevelt Scholarship in 2011 which enabled him to spend 3 months travelling around the USA meeting Social Entrepreneurs to build upon his philanthropic experience and knowledge. Sheridan has been ‘Entrepreneur-In-Residence’ at New College Nottingham, supporting students setting up their own businesses and currently works for an educational organisation delivering the ‘Big Bang STEM’ programme across the Midlands as well as running his own 3D printing and digital technology business.

Heather is a professionally (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) qualified HR Specialist with extensive experience in practical application gained from working within various dynamic manufacturing industries over 20 years. She is also a professional member of CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing). She runs her own highly successful HR company ‘Hopfrog HR’ Ltd and sits at the forefront of innovation in this field. Heather has a passion for change management and education and shares Infused Learning’s philanthropic goals.

Janette Burnett

Janette has an accomplished track record in teaching and training within the private and public sector. As a specialist consultant in Achievement, Equality, Diversity, Social Inclusion and Human Rights she will be a huge asset to our new Access pathways, community work and corporate training.

Claire Chester

Expert Tutor

Claire started her career in Accountancy in 2006 via working practice and taking AAT qualifications. Her industry practice gained her a wealth of experience in VAT, Bookkeeping, Final Accounts and Payroll until moving into management accounting and teaching. Clair discovered that her real passion is for passing on her knowledge and enjoyment of accounting to students and has focused her more recent career on lecturing in accountancy in Further Education.
